Welcome to the blog for 101-fitness.com!

Denis and I work together and a few weeks ago the idea of doing a marathon came up in conversation one night at dinner. The only problem is that neither one of us is a runner. One thing led to another, and over a few days, a few bottles of wine, and some laughing about whether we were serious about doing this the decision was made. We would run a marathon.

Besides the usual reviews of fitness equipment, diets, supplements, and strength training programs this blog will chronicle our exploits training for a marathon and trying to get into the best shape of our lives.
